A week long camp giving kids with Tourette Syndrome a life changing experience

Tourrette Syndrome Camp USA is a 1 week long camp that runs concurrently with YMCA Camp Duncan. It allows children to experience an environment where their TICs are accepeted, and allows them to meet other kids with Tourettes

We have added an event for February 23rd 2018 between 1:30 - 3:30 at Altitude Trampoline Park - Skokie. Come meet our staff and get a taste of camp. We are asking for a donation of $8 for each jumper. Parents and non jumpers their is no costs.



Happy Holidays

Staff Application will be available starting on January 1, 2019. All returning staff will need to complete part of the staff application (not board members.)

We have two changes with staff rehiring this year or any new staff:

1.       We are using a new on-line system from the Active Network as our old system doubled their prices.

2.       Ryan Thomas and Brian Ackler will be handling the hiring of new and re-confirming of returning staff for 2019. So please direct any questions to them. Camp is from Saturday, June 22 (staff training) with camp starting on Sunday, June 23 till Saturday, June 29. 

On Saturday February 23, 2018 from 1:30 to 3:30 PM we will be hosting a trampoline event at Altitude Trampoline Park - Skokie 7037 N Central Ave, Skokie, IL 60077.   We need staff to attend as we will be using this event to try to attract new campers. Your entree fee will be covered if you attend. Please let me know if you can attend. This offer is also for potential new staff who are receiving this email. Whether you want to jump or not we need staff.

About Camp


The Tourette Syndrome Camp USA, founded in 1994, is a residential camping program designed for girls and boys ages 8 - 16+ whose primary diagnosis is Tourette Syndrome and OCD, and to a lesser degree ADD/ADHD. The goal of the camp is to allow children with Tourette Syndrome an opportunity to meet other children, share similar experiences and coping mechanisms in a fun, safe and positive environment. We are a 501(c)3 non profit organization.

We are located just outside Chicago, Illinois in Fox Lake.
